Kiko Navarro's Afroterraneo label from Mallorca (Spain) presents the 'One In A Million' EP, a deeply rooted 3 tracker from 'World House' percussionist and producer, Luciano Stazzone.
Bubbling up from that unique melting pot of Afro-Latin cultures, Miami, 'ORIXA' is dominated by Luciano Stazzone's spiritual drumming, providing a perfect backdrop to a powerful and heartfelt vocal performance by Cesar Carneiro. It's the 'Luau Dancefloor Mix' of ORIXA, however, that opens up the EP. Dubbing out Carneiro's voice over more heavy live percussion, the remix gradually evolves into a hypnotic, deep house behemoth.
Title track 'One In A Million' lays down a mystical, folklore-infused Afro-House groove, with subtle vocal chants giving way to an electrifying flute solo by Maria Consuelo Hernandez. Grown in fertile soil from across the African / Afro-Brazilian and Latin diasporas, this special EP typifies the Afroterraneo sound with great poise and elegance. We hope you enjoy it.

All time album for me, very special and I dont even speak a lick of spanish. All the songs are just great and tell their own story in your own head space. Turned me on to a whole new genre of music. Favorite is the song that introduced me to El Buho, a fun, wild ride of a song David K
