For the second release on his new Afroterraneo imprint, Kiko Navarro unleashes 8 essential DJ tools under his ‘KOKI’ alias. Perfect for more creative players, these fiery, afro-latin infused rhythms are ready to be mixed up with melodies and accappellas, reworked ‘on the fly’, or even just dropped straight into a set to create a drum-frenzy for the serious dancers.

Eagle-eared fans might recognise elements of these grooves from Kiko Navarro’s existing productions and remixes, most notably a couple of standouts from his recent album ‘Everything Happens For A Reason’ on BBE. From the deepest afro grooves in 6/8 time signatures, through Brazilian samba sounds, to arpeggiated Chicago-centric House tracks, ‘8 BEATS’ is a gift to dance music DJs of all shades from one of the most rhythmically gifted producers in the game.
